Birthday Giveaway

My birthday is coming on Wednesday and since I love birthdays and celebrate all month long, I thought I should have a giveaway.

I went searching in my gift closet and found these Mary Engelbreit (don't you just love her!) items. Her book, Crafts to Celebrate the Season, along with a few other ME items. Notecards, journal, tablets and yes, a very fat quarter of some vintage ME fabric.

This giveaway starts today and will last until Friday, September 17 at noon(EST). That way I can get it in the mail to the winner by Friday afternoon.

You have 3 chances to enter.

1) Leave a comment ( I love comments so this is like a birthday present to me) and maybe, if you can, tell your favorite birthday memory.

2) Become a follower (another gift for me since I love followers too.) or if you already are, and I thank you, then just tell me you already follow my blog.

3) I've seen others do this so if you blog about my birthday giveaway, then just let me know. Who knows who might join us because of that!

Be sure to leave a comment for each entry.

Good luck to all. And whenever your birthday might be, I hope it is a happy one!

  3. My favorite Birthday memory was my 12th birthday- we had a full solar eclipse on my birthday. It was so cool to go outside during the afternoon and watch it go totally dark. What a great present!!

My most memorable birthday came the year hubby to me to our nearest Janome dealer and bought me the 6600P!!! I could not believe it...this from a man who usually bought me frying pans or gloves....I was ecstatic!

  10. Happy Birthday Nancy!! (also my moms name!)
We seem to have a lot in common, it is my Birthday this Saturday! I too, love Mary Engelbright! Though I was never a teacher I did spend years as a teachers aide! AND we both share a passion for quilting! Favorite B-day memory was my 18th Birthday (my golden) My grandmother gave me her cedar hope chest that her grandmother had given her and inside was a satan comforter, hand stitched. It is all the same fabric and not pieced that's why I always considered it a comforter but, perhaps some would call it quilt. It had been made by her grandmother. I still have the comforter, it is pink and we always referred to as the "sick blanket" because when we didn't feel good we were allowed to lay under it as the satin felt cool when were running a fever. I hope to one day pass it to my grand daughter, right now I just have grand sons! Thank you for sharing on your Birthday... wonderful giveaway!

  12. Hey Nanc,
Happy Birthday! Hope you are enjoying YOUR month!
    Two favorites if you please...
When I was six, my first grade boyfriend, Paul, gave me a red plaid purse. Loved him and that purse!
Fast forward a 'few' years, when I turned 50, family & friends gathered at Casa d'Amici in Lansdale and totally flabbergasted me with a surprise party....including a sheet cake from our favorite Bethel Bakery in Pittsburgh!
And, now, back to quilting for the color course that I am taking! Jackie

  17. Hello again! I have to say that my favorite birthday memory today has to be when my 6 yr old daughter asked me what I wanted for my birthday this year I told her I have everything I want since I have her. Well, she decided to make a cut-out drawing of herself ... about a foot and a half tall, colored with arms, legs and hair attached, and after pasting it together wrapped it up in a box to give herself to me. I've tacked it up in my closet so I see it every morning to remind me what a caring, loving daughter I've got :)

  33. Happy Birthday! My favorite birthday was my 1st Birthday! Cause there are few pictures of my early childhood...and one precious picture I have is of my 1st BD, my father was in the Navy and the picture is of me in front of this gigantic cake and my mother next to me...maybe not the best BD but certainly sentimental.

  35. My most memorable birthday was my 16th. My hubby was my high school sweetheart and it was the first time I recieved a dozen roses at school. My parents had a celebration at my house and later I went to his parents (my now in-laws), had another celebration. (Now we all live a few minutes from each other so every birthday celebration is shared with ALL of the family!
