A happy find

A few weeks ago I went to the Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton, NJ. It is a really unique sculpture garden and on a good weather day, a great place to walk around and explore. You wander down different paths and never know what you might find.

This table looked very inviting but was all metal and a sculpture!

Unexpected people that from the right distance you would swear they were alive.

Interpretations of old paintings. We didn't do it but you could even insert yourself into the art.

You could be transported to Monet's garden without getting on a plane.

Take a stroll down the street...

and never know what you will encounter.

There were also some more modern pieces interspersed among the traditional.

Couldn't quite figure what they were looking at.

 Even the furniture was attractive.

This fellow obviously saw something he wanted to paint.

And this was one of my favorites. She was just quirky and certainly in a big hurry!

If you are anywhere in this area, be sure to put it on your to-do list. Well worth the visit.
