Good Enough Quilters ride again...

I have been terribly remiss in keeping up with this blog. I have things to say but just never seem to have time to get it down. Luckily, when the Good Enough Quilters meet, I do get my thoughts and pictures down on paper. Tonight, everyone brought the 2 1/2 squares we cut out of donated fabric. Now, we are taking some of each home and everyone is making at least 2 10 x 10 block squares to bring to the next meeting. I cut mine out right before everyone arrived so hopefully I will do this more ahead of time for our next meeting. We will make our own scrappy quilt from this and then donate to a charity.

Cindy shared two block of the month blocks. These are from a local quilt shop and the blocks are from the book below. Love these two and the fabric they are made from. The block above has fabric that was make your own. Pretty neat, if you ask me.

Sadly, I think I just might have to buy this book. They look like the kind of blocks I really like.

Deb shared her 1/2 yard challenge quilt. Don't you love the bold center and colors of this quilt. Now, I am one of the two not yet finished. It is a good thing that the deadline we set was a soft one! Wasn't it?

Fran's share was from her quilt a month club. These have all been little but mighty so far. We loved the look of this and couldn't believe the many little 1 1/2 inch blocks Fran had to cut. Yiiiiieee.

Peggy showed us all the progress she made with her 1/2 yard challenge. The border and corners look great.

Lynn showed her totally finished charity quilt. I just love the way the world map was separated. Who wouldn't enjoy this quilt.

This quilt was made by Lynn from blocks she made oh, so long ago. This has such soft colors and the white sashing looks great. She is going to use the paper-pieced blocks in the corners of this quilt. Won't that look great.

And finally, Lynn's red and blue quilt. It is so simple and she said it was easy but just love the bold colors of this quilt. Some lucky person will really like this quilt.

I really hope to be more regular in my postings. I'm making a list of topics and will get back soon.

Happy Sewing all!
